Behold, I shew you a mystery: we shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed...(I Corinthians 15:51)
I have been thinking about this recently and I can't help but think this has so much to do with the world we are living in today. I have planned to do so much with my life. Becoming a Pediatrician/Homeopathic, becoming an author, getting married, raising children, starting a nonprofit, and so many other things all seem to be just out of reach as I look at the world we are living in now. I do believe that the devastation happening now is only the tip of the iceberg. Look at the number of wars, skirmishes, earthquakes, fires, volcanic eruptions, famines, weather changes, and other natural disasters happening in real-time. Do you really think it can all be scientifically proven? Or do you think that the book of Revelation holds truth?
I am realizing that my life goals could come to a halt at any moment. I am not saying our world will not last another millennium because I am not God. I do not know when God will tell Jesus to stand and say "Alright, I am done", but I do know that there are signs and only a fool would wander aimlessly through life thinking they still have time. Let's finish that passage in II Corinthians. For some reason, I believe this should go along with the prayer.
I Corinthians 15:51-58
Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. Oh death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

I love this passage because it is so gripping. The Holy Spirit seems to speak through this passage. In Deuteronomy 29:29, it says "the secret things belong to the Lord" and in I Timothy 3:16 is says "great is the mystery of godliness". There are still many unsolved mysteries of God. So much so that we will have to wait until we are with Him in heaven. A lifetime dedicated to solving such mysteries is not nearly enough time, so it is captivating when the Bible starts talking to you in such a way that it is revealing a mystery.
My prayer comes from Psalm 119:126 which says, "It is time for thee, Lord, to work: For they have made void thy law." We are living in a world where the Bible no longer exists openly in schools and where God is starting to be shunned amongst the common people. The revivals that happened early this year were acts of God. Asbury Revival was one of the largest revivals, and interestingly some of the people that called themselves "gospel singers" grew bitter toward Asbury's university leaders because Asbury would not let them sing on their stage. If we are all of one spirit, then why the animosity? Where did the Asbury revival start? In the hearts [which are the minds] of a small group of college students, and I believe with all my heart that these students were Christians. The Holy Spirit only dwells amongst born-again, Christ-like people. Asbury had awakened the power of the Holy Spirit. People came far and wide to get touched by this loving Spirit they heard to be the Jesus of the Bible. I was not planning to write this all until next year, but I recall a young man I saw after I left the Asbury chapel. He was crying and telling someone over the phone the love he experienced upon entering the building. He said that he was planning on killing himself later that day but decided he would check out this Asbury Revival that he had seen on TikTok first. He drove to Kentucky and experienced a love that was unexplainable and a peace that overwhelmed him. This is biblicial. I knew he was talking about my God. HMPH! BUT MY GOD SHALL SUPPLY ALL YOUR NEED ACCORDING TO HIS RICHES IN GLORY THROUGH CHRIST JESUS. Amen, brothers and sisters!
He had a supernatural interaction with the Lord! The Lord was pulling him out of his depression. The Lord was pulling him out of his calamity. The Lord was pulling out of his sin. The Lord was cleansing his pained soul. The Lord was pulling him into His open arms.

It is time for You to do something in this society, Lord. Send leaders into our government that are fit to rule. Send leaders who are able to discern between absolute truth and lies because there is only absolute truth.
Break the chains that the demons have on a perverted society. I rebuke and cast down every wicked thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God (II Corinthians 10:5). Our world desires sexual perversion instead of sexual purity. Our world desires the protection of life of a miscellaneous blade of grass or a small dog over a human child. Are we not counted more precious than that to You, dear Lord? Our world gravitates toward Hollywood stars as if they are gods and worship them like the Israelites did their idols instead of realizing the essence of Satanism each Hollywood star must possess and is bound to for the purpose of "popularity".
If you refuse to loose society, as it is headed for its own demise like Revelation says it would, save those who desire the sincere milk of the Word. Let the people who desire to see Your power be shown Your power in full. Let those who do not understand Your Holy Spirit receive His power and blessing of boldness upon their life. Bless all those who read this and genuinely desire a touch from the Almighty God.
Let those who desire to give others hope be given wisdom and discernment as You only can give and have promised to do so freely, in James 1:5, if we would ask...May they be blessed as our world heads for its final judgment.
It is time, Lord, for you to work. As You start in Your churches, Lord, help us to live righteously before You with a pure heart void of offense toward God and toward others. We know Jesus comes quickly, Lord, help us to be ready.
